Subject: Limited Search Ability
Reply-To: jackson@stsci.edu
In comparing the features provided by Gopher,
WAIS, and WWW, I noticed that neither WWW LineMode
nor Viola WWW provides any search capabilities
within the text displayed.
Thus one is limited to scanning the text.
For non-hypertext'd information, this is
a severe drawback.
Are there any plans to add this feature or is
it undesirable to do so?
